Executive Technical Summary: At web speeds exceeding 40 meters per second, human optical inspection is physically impossible. Modern diaper quality relies on automated machine vision.
On our Japanese Zuiko converting lines, every product undergoes real-time visual and spectral auditing before reaching the packaging stacker.
Integrated Multi-Station Vision Architecture
- Station 1: Infrared Core Density Scanning: Analyzes light transmission through the absorbent core to detect grammage variations (> ±1.5%) or localized SAP voids.
- Station 2: Sub-Millimeter Elastic Geometry: Measures Lycra strand spacing, leg cuff barrier height (tolerance ±0.3mm), and waistband symmetry.
- Station 3: Surface Particle & Foreign Fiber Detection: High-resolution 4K sensors detect dust particles as small as 0.05mm² on nonwoven webs.
- Station 4: Pneumatic High-Velocity Rejection: Defective pieces are tracked via PLC encoders and expelled with a high-pressure air blast into a locked scrap chamber.
This automated rigor enables Shenghongda to deliver defect rates below 15 PPM across millions of export containers. Review our Production Capacity & Technology.
